The materials document the educational, cultural, advocacy, religious, social service, and other activities of local organizations. Currently documented publications span the period between 1963 and 1994; other publications may be added with time. The collection was assembled by the repository to document the history and public voice of community organizations.

This book provides a coherent picture and reveals a wide panoramic view of the artistic life of Ukrainians living in Quebec, with its colorful palette, from the period of first settlements to the present day. At the heart of this publication are carefully gleaned archival photographs and jubilee booklets of churches and civic organizations, materials from private collections, collected stories and memories shared by older members of the community, the long-time residents of Montreal, and recent arrivals.
